Promised Comforter

for Christ

If you love me, keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another comforter, that he may remain with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him.
But you will know him, because he will stay with you and be in you. –
But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send
in my name will teach you all things,
and will remind you of all that I have said to you.
Jesus Christ
John XIV: 16 and 26

"Acts 17 23 For as I passed by and saw your sanctuaries, I also found an altar on which it was written,TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. This therefore, whom you honor, not knowing him, I proclaim to you.

In the Atharva Veda, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself says:

"Then, at the end of the period between four thousand and five thousand years in Kali-yuga, I will descend to earth as a pure, golden-complexioned brahmana in a place on the banks of the river Ganges, and later I will become the chief jewel among all the sanyasis, exposing all My transcendental qualities, including supreme renunciation and complete detachment from material desires. I will exhibit all thirty-two bodily symptoms of a great personality, with my arms reaching to my knees. devotee, very advanced in bhakti-yoga, and I will teach the worship of Lord Krishna (Myself) by chanting My own holy names and by tasting the sweetness of My own devotional service. At that time only My most confidential devotees will be able to understand me."

The religious, cultural and political reformer appeared in West Bengal. His name is Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the founder of the current Hare Krishna movement. He is also known as Sri Gauranga, due to his golden complexion. Accepted by many scholars and theologians as the incarnation of Krishna, or God, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu established a revolutionary spiritual movement based on ancient Vedic literature.

Casting aside the stifling restrictions of India's caste system, He allowed people everywhere to transcend social barriers and achieve, through chanting the maha-mantra: "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare" the ultimate platform of spiritual enlightenment.
His birth, in the year 1486, in Mayapur, India, had long been predicted in the ancient scriptures of India. Upon attaining youthful vigor, Lord Caitanya began to carry out His divine mission of enabling people of all walks of life to have access to the love of God. Sri Caitanya taught that this awakening could be achieved through chanting the holy names of God, the Hare Krishna mantra: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

What is Sankirtan?

The eight slokas written by the Lord are:

1
Glory to Sri Krishna's sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated over the years and extinguishes the fire of conditioned life, of repeated birth and death. This sankirtana movement is the ultimate blessing for humanity on a large scale because it scatters the Moon's rays of bliss. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It enhances the ocean of transcendental bliss, and enables us to fully savor the nectar for which we are always yearning.
two
O my Lord, Your holy name alone can bestow every blessing on living beings, and therefore you have hundreds of millions of names like Krishna and Govinda. The Lord invested all of His transcendental energies in these transcendental names. And there are not even hard or rigid rules for chanting these names. O my Lord, Your goodness enabled us to easily approach You by chanting Your holy names, but I am so unfortunate that I have no attraction to them.
3
One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, considering oneself inferior to a straw in the street; one must be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of any sense of false prestige, and ready to offer all respect to others. In this state of mind, one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly.
4
O almighty Lord, I have no desire to accumulate wealth, nor do I desire beautiful women, nor do I want any number of followers. I just want Your unconditional devotional service birth after birth.
5
O son of Nanda Maharaja (Krishna), I am Your eternal servant, but for some reason, I fell into the ocean of birth and death, please take me from this ocean of death and place me as one of the atoms of Your lotus feet. .
6
O my Lord, when will my eyes be decorated with tears of love constantly flowing when I chant Your holy name? When will my voice choke, and when will the hairs on my body stand on end at the recitation of Your name?
7
O Govinda! Because I feel His separation, I consider a moment to be twelve years or more. Tears flow from my eyes like torrents of rain, and I feel all empty in the world in Your absence.
8
I don't know anyone other than Krishna as my Lord, and He will remain that way even if I hold tightly to His embrace or break my heart for not being present before me. He is completely free to do anything and everything, because He is always my unconditionally loving Lord.

."Sankirtan means chanting the names of God together, and among the ways to invite more and more people to be part of this group, the distribution of books that explain this chanting is certainly the most effective way, because these books contain the humanity's oldest and purest teachings, the Vedas, which are filled with the tastiest nectars of the spiritual plane!
Furthermore, distributing transcendental literature is the most effective way for us to obtain spiritual realizations! It may seem difficult to understand, but it is only when we become absorbed in this activity that we understand the value it really has.
Below is a list of reasons for engaging in this transcendent activity:
Satisfies the spiritual master and the Supreme Personality of Godhead:
The Supreme Lord Himself says in the Bhagavad Gita:
"For one who explains this supreme secret to the devotees, pure devotional service is guaranteed, and in the end, he will return to Me."
Krishna is very pleased to see people abandoning the selfish desire for material gain and feeling the supreme bliss of being directly related to Him through loving devotional service, and the spiritual master who is Krishna's representative feels this same pleasure, in our spiritual line we see the desire of our previous masters to help more and more spiritual souls. Srila Prabhupada, our param guru, said that his greatest pleasure was to see this movement expand all over the world through the distribution of books. It is the best social service for humanity.
In these books people learn how to get rid of selfishness and how to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead. These books contain the deepest spiritual realizations of the most advanced devotees in the universe. By helping people to strengthen their spiritual convictions and to develop a personal and direct relationship with God, we are giving the greatest help that anyone can give, teaching self-realization, how we can enable ourselves to be better human beings and surrender to the divine will. Helps us to develop love and compassion for everyone:
When we distribute books we come across all kinds of people, rich, poor, calm, nervous, arrogant, friendly, etc... And when we approach them we have to convey a message of pure.

3. The totality of material substance, called Brahman, is the source of birth, and it is this Brahman that I fertilize, making possible the births of all living beings, O son of Bharata. 4. O son of Kunti, it must be understood that it is with birth into this material nature that all living entities, in all species of life, become possible, and that I am the seed-giving father.

VERSE 6 — Though I am unborn and My transcendental body never decays, and though I am the Lord of all living entities, yet every millennium I appear in My original transcendental form.
VERSE 7 — Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion — there then I myself descend.
VERSE 8 — To deliver the pious and annihilate the unbelievers, as well as to restore the principles of religion, I myself come, millennium after millennium.

John 13

8 Peter said unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.

13 You call me Master and Lord, and you say it well, because I am.

14 Now if I, Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you ought also to wash one another's feet.

15 For I have given you an example, so that, as I have done to you, you should also do.

"Lord Sri Krishna is within our heart and He is fully aware of every second of our lives, all the past, present and future. He knows everything, and He has perfect memory, He does not forget. We forget, but He does not forget .The Lord knows all that we have done, and that we will do."

Later he said to them: “I told you these things while remaining with you. But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (Jn 14:25-26).

Chapter Understanding Krsna and Christ

"Krsna and Christ - The Name is the Same"

"When an Indian person calls on krsna, he often says "Krista". Krista is a Sanskrit word meaning attraction. So when we address God as Christ, Krsta, Krsna, we indicate the same all-attractive Supreme Personality of Godhead. When Jesus said "Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name", this name of God was Krsta or Krsna.
So whether you say Christ, Krsta, Krsna is ultimately addressing the Supreme Personality of Godhead."
On September 26, with the arrival of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in the USA in 1965. The spread of this culture in the West began. His arrival altered the history of the consciousness of God and the spirituality of the world.

John 14

1 Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I will prepare a place for you.
3 And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will take you to myself, that where I am, you also may be.
4 Even you know where I am going, and you know the way.
17 The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; but you know him, because he dwells with you, and will be in you.
John 14
21 He who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.
24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; Now the word which you have heard is not mine, but the Father's who sent me.
I have told you this while being with you.
26 But that Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

A miracle from Lord Caitanya.

He asked the devotees what they wanted to eat, and upon being told that they wanted to eat mangoes, He asked them to bring a mango pit. When the mango was brought to Him, He planted it in the courtyard of Srinivasa's house, and immediately a seedling began to grow. In a few moments, this seedling became a fully grown mango tree, filled with more ripe fruit than the devotees could eat. The tree remained in Srinivasa's courtyard, and from that day onwards the devotees took as many mangoes as they liked from that tree.

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands;
Nor is he served by the hands of men, as if he needed anything; for he himself gives to all life, and breath, and all things;
Acts 17:24,25

Text 43 You are the father of this complete cosmic manifestation, the mobile and the immovable. You are its lovable leader, the supreme spiritual master. No one is greater than You, nor can anyone be one with You. How then can there be anyone within the three worlds greater than You, O Lord of immeasurable power?
VERSE 44 — You are the Supreme Lord, worthy of worship by all living beings. So I prostrate myself to offer You my respectful obeisances and ask Your mercy. Just as a father tolerates his son's insolence, or a friend tolerates his friend's impertinence, or a wife tolerates her partner's familiarity, so please tolerate any injustice I may have done to You.

John 16

7 Yet I tell you the truth, that it is expedient for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but when I go, I will send him to you.
9 And when he comes, he will convince the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
Of sin, because they do not believe in me;
12I still have many truths that I want to tell you, but it would be too much for your understanding at this time. 13However, when the Spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak on his own, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will reveal to you everything that is to come. …
14 He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I told you that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
